A strange request

Recently met a fellow from the old days. It turned out that every day is a science and tech news. I, of course, also praised what he deals with on a daily basis. It seems to me that my job is also commendable, and that I should not be ashamed of it. This is just my opinion on the subject. I knew that after a colleague when I told him I was a police officer that he is very impressed. However, eventually the conversation did not end too cool.

A friend as soon as he learned that I was a police officer that has just started so terribly somehow behave strangely. I am very upset. He began to ask me if I have accesses to any database or that kind of thing too. Not really suited me and not too I really enjoyed it.
Finally, a colleague went to the heart of the matter and asked him if I could check the data for one of his friend which so far do not know that much and wanted to find out something more from a serious source.

I apologized to him and adequately unless of course I told him that, unfortunately, but I will not be such a source. I said truthfully, because firstly I can not do things like that and secondly, surely this information is confidential.
