Require the presence of the party

At work once started on some party to be organized just for our police officers but not only. Of course the first thing that came to my mind in this topic is that it just will not go to the party because they surely do not have such an obligation. I'm single so I rather prefer to avoid such opportunities social events.

But as it turned out this party is supposed to be very important and our boss was anxious to attendance at this particular party was 100%. Of course, the head of us personally informed about it. Of course, I was not very happy with this fact because I was probably quite different intentions but as it turned out already that I have to go to this party is something I'll have to eat alone about it.
